Man, this took so much longer than I anticipated, with the details and concept changes. Rocinante, the Horse guardian of the beam keeps watch in the distance. Rocinante was the name of Don Quixote's horse, which is where the idea for the windmills came from. With Randall Flagg and Roland Deschain engaged in a supernatural card game. I based Roland off the actor Sam Strike, since I would have loved to have seen his Gunslinger.
